Since 2009, I have written more than 150 articles related to the history of the Near North Side in Omaha, Nebraska. Frequently associated with Omaha’s African American community, this neighborhood has been home to many European immigrant and ethnic groups too. Following are some of the articles I’ve researched and written. For more details, see my note at the end of this article.

Adam’s Note: This article is about the region in Omaha extending from Cuming to Lake Street, from North 16th to North 30th Streets, which used to be referred to as the Near North Side. However, it also includes articles all the way south to Dodge, which was the original Near North Side neighborhood. These articles are about everything in that area, including people, places and events, extending from the founding of Omaha in 1854 all the way to now. This is not an article, and it does not include anything besides my articles. If you want to see something, say something in the comments on the original articles.
