In 2021, the Omaha City Council named the area around North 24th and Ames Avenue as an Economic Vitality Preservation District, a local building owner stepped forward to call it the “Saratoga Belt Line Historic District.” This article is a compilation of articles I’ve written about the area and other locations I’ve identified.

J. F. Bloom Monuments Company, North Omaha, Nebraska
This was the JF Bloom factory in 1941. Located at Florence Boulevard and Ames Avenue, it was demolished in 2018.

Behind that, you can see the Druid Hall, which is now on the National Register of Historic Places; a cleaners; the Star Liquor Store; and LaRue's Barbershop. Johnson's was a Rexall Drug Store.

Third Christian Science Church, 2118 Browne Street, Saratoga neighborhood, North Omaha, Nebraska
Third Christian Science Church was built at 2118 Browne Street in Saratoga in 1950. In the 1970s, it became home to the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
  • Pearl Memorial United Methodist Church: Located at N. 24th and Larimore Avenue from 1905 to 1916; at N. 24th and Ogden Avenue from 1918 to 2016
  • Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer: Located at N. 24th and Larimore Avenue from 1916 to 2006
  • Third Church Christ Scientist: Located at 2118 Browne Street from 1950 to 1979
  • Trinity Lutheran Church: Located at N. 25th Street and Ames Avenue from c.1884 to 1920; became the Omaha Public Library North Branch from 1921 to 1938; demolished afterwards.
  • Saratoga Congregational Church: Located at N. 25th and Ames Avenue from c.1860 to 1913
