4515 N 24th Street was built as a grocery store in 1900. In 1928, the A&P Supermarket Chain renovated it and added the Art Deco style frontage on the building. In 1942, the Hinky Dinky chain acquired the building and later it may have become a Shaver’s Supermarket that operated there until the 1960s.
