Learn about him at the link in my bio. NEW PODCAST: HONEST? For more than a century, Nebraska textbooks taught students that there was barely any slavery in Nebraska. In 1928, the A&P Supermarket Chain renovated it and added the Art Deco style frontage on the building. In 1942, the Hinky Dinky chain acquired the building and moved out in the 1960s. Today it’s owned by Trans Motion, where Wendy Reeves sent me the current pics shown here. Thanks Wendy! A version of this view was possible into the early 2000s, but today only two of these buildings are left. What corner is this?? #northomahahistory #omahaplaces #lostplaces #omahastreets Last week I visited @thedurhammuseum and wondered how we could better share North Omaha’s history.
